Q: What sizes and materials of pipes do you stock? We carry aluminum, stainless, and steel pipes in a variety of sizes.
Q: Can you provide specific dimensions or grades of angle? We carry aluminum, steel, and stainless angles in a variety of sizes.
Q: What are the different types of chains you sell? We carry roller chains, welded chains, high-test chain, D.O.T. approved chain, log chain, and steel pintle chain.
Q: What kind of heavy hardware do you carry? We carry a variety of hinges, latches, fasteners, brackets, nuts, bolts.
Q: What brands and types of metalworking machines do you offer? We carry Ellis, and Scotchman Machines.
Q: Do you provide technical specifications or manuals for your metalworking machines? All machines come with user manuals, and additional materials can be obtained upon request.
Q: What kind of tools do you stock? We carry a variety of tools from Williams tools, Bahco tools, and DeWalt tools.
Q: Do you offer custom cutting or fabrication services for your materials? We offer shearing, bandsaw cutting, hole punching, and drilling.
Q: Can I request a specific alloy or grade of metal that is not listed? Yes, if you do not see something you are looking for, just ask and we will see what we can do.

Q: What are your estimated delivery times? Delivery times will vairy, most orders will be able to ship next day, depending on product availability.
Q: Do you offer local delivery or pickup options? We offer local delivery, and in store pick up.
Q: How can I track my order? Orders can be tracked by using the tracking number from the freight company.
Q: What carriers do you use for shipping? We ship with Speedee, UPS, Panama, Dohrn, and MME.
IV. Returns & Exchanges:
Q: What is your return policy? Des Moines Iron has a 30 day return policy, on all materials, that were straight off the shelf. Any metals that were cut for order or are damaged do not qualify for returns.

Q: Who pays for return shipping? The customer will be responsible for any return costs, unless the fault is on Des Moines Iron, then we will assist in the return process and cover costs ourselves.
Q: What is your policy on damaged or incorrect items? Please check your items upon pick up/receipt. Contact immediately to inform us of any issues. Delay of notification may result in denial of claim/return/exchange. If damaged, a claim must be filed with the freight carrier.
