Des Moines Iron has been family-owned since opening in 1902, and over the years, the business has been passed down over 7 generations. Today, it is in the hands of Earl Lamb, who has owned Des Moines Iron since 2006. 

With the largest auger inventory in Iowa and one of the largest in the Midwest, we're ready to meet your needs. tHROUGH THE yEARS

Des Moines Iron & Supply Company started at West First and Vine in Des Moines. In 1940 we moved to a nearby downtown location on SW 3rd.

As we grew, and the downtown area was developed, Des Moines Iron & Supply Company moved to our current location on NE 14th Street.

From America’s heartland we continue to supply parts for the nation’s agricultural industry with prompt and friendly service.
